The iPhone by nature is a little more engrossing than your average mobile phone. This means it is a lot easier to lose concentration of your surroundings when browsing the web or using the touch screen.

Here are just a few tips in order to help prevent you becoming a victim of mindless phone robbery:

Stay Alert
Yes a very simple tip but possibly the most important. When using your phone in public make sure that you are aware of your surroundings and are cautious of any suspicious behaviour. If in doubt keep your phone safely in your pocket and stay where there are a crowd of people so as not to get isolated.

Don’t leave your phone unattended
If your out with friends or somewhere public be sure not to leave your phone in view of everyone with or without you being there. This is just too tempting for anyone to glide by and pocket your phone.

Make sure you have insurance
If the worst comes to the worst and you can’t avoid your phone being taken make sure that you have the phone covered. You can buy cover from any retailer when you first buy your iPhone. It is worth taking out as it also covers other things such as accidental damage.
